One Photo Only
Just trying to keep a record of my life by taking one photo per day. It comes from my Flickr set automagically.
365 Days 2009 - Day 149 - May 29 - Househunting: Waiting for a bus so I could go see a house on the top of the hill overlooking Agen. Unfortunately, by he time I got there the agent had realised that the house had been signed for already. And it was an amazing house, dammit. But, on the other hand, it was a nice walk. In the evening, I managed to attend the two biggest community events for Le Passage for the evening: One was a gallery opening for my landlord, the other was a community shared meal in the cul-de-sac near our friend’s house. I was mainly invited to the latter as an Australian who could entertain the Australian business guest (Bruce wasn’t back from his business trip until later that evening). But that worked out alright - turns out the guy had worked for the people I work for. So Adelaide. I attended the evening events in a pretty little skirt and heels, riding my pushbike between them. It was so much fun to hop on my bike at the end of the 25 degree evening, all dressed up, a little tipsy, with no lights on my bike, no helmet and less than 1km to travel in backstreets. It feels like freedom and smells like summer.
